ABOUT ME
I am passionate about education and helping all students achieve their dreams through education.
I believe that all students have the right to live a choice-filled life and I believe that the proper education will help them do just that.
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with my school social work certification. I am a college persistence advisor with KIPP Through College. Through working with KIPP, I have helped hundreds of students start and finish college applications, create and edit their admission & scholarship essays, performed countless transfer audits and matched students with internships across the country.
I am a Double Dawg graduate from the University of Georgia, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Science along with my Masters in Social Work.
I started my college career at the University of South Carolina College of Nursing. After 2.5 years I decided to transfer to the University of Georgia in order to be closer to home. In the interim between USC and UGA, I attended Kennesaw State University for 1 semester. While transferring so many times was stressful, I don't regret it because I know that UGA was where I was supposed to land and then flourish.
